Play Ps5 Games With Ps4 Controller

PS4 controller will work with PS5, but not for PS5 games The DualShock 4 will be able to play PS4 games on PS5, but new games need DualSense controller. This switch from the PS4 to PS5 isn't the same. PS4 could very well be getting new games for the next 5 years. Exclusivity wise (and the reason I own a PS5) Sony wins. But technical wise Microsoft wins. 1TB SSD, Better GPU/CPU, Old controllers, 1440p support and more. If Sony didn't hav exclusives, there was no chance I had purchased a PS5. Play your favorite PS4 games on the PS5 with your DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller via your home broadband wired network. The same PlayStation Network account is required to connect both consoles. You'll find 'PS5 Remote Play' application on your PS4 screen. I know that the ps4 controller has basically been perfected to use with Cemu and I know they're working on making the ps5 one work flawlessly too. The only downside I can see of getting the ps4 controller is the fact that it uses a micro-USB cable instead of the ps5's USB-c cable and the fact that the gyro and triggers are a little last generation.

When the Sony PlayStation 5 debuted in November, it came with a ton of new and significant upgrades. Among them were 4K resolution, storage space, faster load times, and the DualSense controller. The DualSense is a departure from the Sony's usual controller brand, the DualShock.

You can still use a PS4 DualShock on your PS5, but only to play backwards compatible PS4 games. You can't use it to play PS5 games directly on the console.

However, you can use a DualShock controller to remotely play PS5 games on your phone, tablet, PC, or Mac through the Remote Play app.

For those who find the DualShock 4 more accessible - or those who simply don't want to buy new controllers -here's how to use your PS4 controller with the PS5 console and games.

This means the DualShock is in pairing mode.

6. Once in pairing mode, the PS4 controller will appear under 'Accessories found' on the Bluetooth Accessories page. Using the controller that's already connected, scroll down to where you see 'Dualshock 4' and select it.

7. A prompt will appear asking, 'Do you want to register this Bluetooth accessory.' Choose 'Yes,' and wait for a colored light will show on the PS4 controller indicating pairing was successful.
